This year marks the 30th Anniversary of The Ellen Hermanson Foundation.

Over the past three decades, the Foundation has helped revolutionize breast health care on the East End. With the support of our friends, we have been able to provide FREE services right here in our community, where breast cancer diagnosis and mortality rates are among the highest in New York State.

As we celebrate this 30th anniversary milestone, we invite you to join our new Ellen’s Circle with a monthly gift of $30.

For just $360 a year, look what your dollars do. Your fully tax-deductible gift of $30 a month can:

• Support a FREE mammogram for three women this year. Early detection of breast cancer saves lives, but even a basic mammogram costs $120, an insurmountable expense for many. At The Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, no patient is turned away for lack of insurance or inability to pay for treatment.

• Provide microgrants to members of our Community Partners—The Bridgehampton Child Care and Recreational Center, OLA (Organización Latino-Americana on the East End), The Retreat/All Against Abuse, and Shinnecock Health Center. Our microgrants reach women in need, alleviating financial pressure for the essentials of daily living such as groceries, heat, childcare, gas, and transportation.
