ChRistopher Robbins

Christopher Robbins has brought a wealth of high-end catering and special events expertise to Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs when he co-founded the company with Paula and Ken Wolfe in 1987.

Christopher spent seven years as the chef for R.C. Wilford Catering, based in Bridgehampton, NY and in New York City on the Upper East Side. He began his catering career in high school, working for JRS Parties in coastal New Hampshire as a waiter and prep chef. While attending Southampton College on Long Island, he had a chance meeting with cookbook author and NY Times food columnist Miriam Ungerer, who recommended him to Robert Wilford, where he helmed the kitchen for five years.

Since the inception of Robbins Wolfe, Christopher has created events for a wide range of celebrity, fashion and industry icons including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Bill Clinton, HSH Prince Albert of Monaco, Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld, Steven Spielberg’s SHOAH Foundation, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, Uma Thurman, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Charles and Helen Dolan, Johnson and Johnson’s Gretchen and James Johnson, and more.

Over the past two decades, Christopher has been featured in publications such as “The Best of Martha Stewart Weddings”, Colin Cowie’s “Weddings” and InStyle Magazine’s “InStyle Parties” — where he is one of 16 guest event designers featured. For six years, he penned the column titled “Social Pulse” in Nassau County based Elements magazine, serving as its Society/Entertaining Editor for 5 years, and is a former Society Editor for 25A Magazine where he wrote the column, The 25A-List. He has also been published frequently in Gotham + Hamptons Magazines, New York Magazine and Special Events Magazine, among others.

Christopher has appeared live on NBC’s “The Today Show,” and has been featured on CBS’s “The Hamptons - A Summer Classic”, The Food Network, several reality-based shows on the Bravo Network, the Discovery Home Channel, and Plum TV. He has been heard on live radio on The Joan Hamburg Show on WOR and is a regular guest on Bonnie Grice’s Radio Lounge on WPPB radio in Southampton, New York.
