Charlotte Klein Sasso has been coming to the Hamptons since childhood and has been a year round resident since 1986. Charlotte and her husband Bruce own and operate Stuart’s Seafood Market, Ltd. and Sasso Seafoods, Inc. in Amagansett where they sell a full line of retail and wholesale seafood, as well as take-out dinners, prepared foods and gourmet provisions. The Sassos’ son Dante is a sophomore at East Hampton High School where Charlotte is a very active parent.

Charlotte serves on the Jewish Center of the Hamptons Board of Trustees as Secretary and is proud of her work as chair of their yearly Yom Ha’Shoah Holocaust remembrance program.

She was co-honoree at the Jewish Center’s Summer Luncheon in 2012. Charlotte and Bruce were also honored as Community Partners at the 2018 Nature Conservancy Summer Gala. In addition, Charlotte volunteers for, and supports a variety of local causes including The Retreat, Maureen’s Haven, and the monthly Community Soup Dinners run by the East Hampton Clericus.

Charlotte would like to dedicate this honor to her aunt, Eleanor Cantor, and to her dear friend Kathleen Lee, who both lost their battles with breast cancer after long, valiant fights.
